I work for Tulane. Tulane employees get tuition waivers so all I would have to do is pay for books and my boss just told me that they tax you on the classes you take. WTF. Anyways, I've been thinking about getting another Masters. Yes, I already have a Masters but that's for business and I'm thinking about getting a Masters in Public Health since that's the career route I'm on currently. It would take me three years with 6 credits a semester. The biggest thing deterring me is the fact that I'd have to do a public health analysis which is sort of like a thesis and of course, the oral defense. It's been three years since I've been in school - I'm not entirely sure I want to go back. o_O

I wish Tulane had a fashion or textiles program cause I'd totally do that. XD

I've also toyed with the idea of getting certificates in both digital design and website development just for fun.

I had my very last final tonight. I have a meeting tomorrow, but that's it.

I'm done forever.

Unless I decide to go back for my MBA.

I don't want to go back to school tomorrow. I like classes because of the people and projects, but I just don't want to have to get up early and sit there until 6:00. Mondays are just poop because they're so long. Oh well.

The Chinese Thanksgiving party was fun, hung out with Camay, played mahjong, ate food, watched people do karaoke, played Mario Kart DS, um, I think that's it.

Marty came into town on Friday, actually, that's also when the 44 inch HDTV thingy came too. We watched Finding Nemo on it!

The shopping in Gainesville is soooooo crappy compared to other towns. Ft. Myers has grown so much in terms of consumerism, it's awesome. There's also a new international airport which just weirds me out because it means it's becoming more important possibly? I donno.

I'm hungry, I need to unpack, and I have a short assignment to do. Moo.

I have done absolutely nothing today.

I went to class.

I sat on the computer. I stayed there for hours upon hours.

Luckily I have the rest of the night to do the small bit of homework I have.

The weather is so nice this weekend! I love wearing my new sweaters. :) I forgot to mention that I got a huge splinter stuck in my hand last night from my shinai but Michelle pulled it out. Jae ended up sanding my shinai for me. Now it's kind of like new, except old.

I am done with tests until finals! That means I can concentrate on doing the last three projects for Copy and Vis and random club crap. Moo moo moo. I gotta go finish eating before we leave.

Tomorrow I'm gonna go the Harn Museum at 6:00 pm for a lecture.

My birthday's next month on the 20th. That's funny to think about. I have other people's birthdays to worry about before mine though.

This is dumb, I'm trying to procrastinate but I have nothing to distract me, I guess I better just go finish it. :P

I found a copy of the Satellite which has an article about cosplaying and certain pictures of people. I can't look at it too long because I'll start laughing.

Kind of motivates me to rework my costume and possibly think of another costume to do for next year.

Right now though, I have a test.

At 6:15 I was headed to a PRSSA meeting. I was walking along the sidewalk from the Reitz Union to Weimer when I rounded a corner. A palm tree was nearby and as I passed it something fell from the tree. I was relieved because it didn't hit me. I assumed it was bird poop or something and when I turned to check the fallen object I saw that it was a baby squirrel! Another girl who happened to be heading to same meeting was right behind and saw the whole thing. The baby squirrel was still alive and it was making baby squirrel noises! We had no idea what to do. We kind of stared at it for five minutes before she got on her cell phone to call Campus information to get an animal services number. She tried calling animal services but she kept getting a machine so she left a message. People kept walking by and making "aww" noises and telling us good luck. I went to the help desk at the Reitz Union to get a box. One guy on a bike passes by and I yell at him to watch out for the baby squirrel. He barely misses the baby squirrel but stops to stare at it. He ends up being the one who carefully puts the baby squirrel in the box. The girl and I take the baby squirrel to our meeting hoping that animal services would call back. After the meeting and announcing that we had the baby squirrel, a girl comes up and tells us that her friend's mother lives in Gainesville and takes care of random animals including squirrels. She explains that animal services would not come to the rescue of the baby squirrel but her friend's mother would and currently she is taking care about 7 baby squirrels. How cute is that? So the other girl ends up taking the baby squirrel to get taken care of.

How random is that?

Instead of doing my homework now while I have some free time before class, I'll do it later after dinner or something. Hmm, I should probably start walking to class soon. Stupid Matherly Hall being out in bufu.

calnhobbes. I was noticing the little satellite dishes in LJ and I didn't know what they were, but now I know and now I will get a Calvin and Hobbes comic every day on my Friends page. ::beams::

I am done with everything. It's so weird not having anything to do. Well, technically, I still need to work on the PRSSA website for this competition thing but I don't have to worry about that right now. Otherwise, I'm just sitting on my ass waiting to go to Jacksonville. After a weekend in Jacksonville, I will be heading home to Ft. Myers. I can't wait, I haven't been home in so long.

After a week at home, we will see if I ever return to Gainesville for the summer. Even if I get the intenrship, I'm sure I'll visit before I fly off to New York. I honestly have no idea what my chances are on getting the stupid internship and really at this point, I don't care. I just want to know what the poop I'm doing.

Hm, I have time for video games again. At least for a little while. What do I want to play? Hm...

I want to see Mom and Dad Save the World again. It has been a longass time. I remember renting the movie over and over.

Kendo has been neat but tougher since I've gotten my bogu. I know I need to be more aggressive but I hesitate because I'm not sure if my technique is right. When you get your bogu, it's like you have to relearn everything from before to adjust to the bogu. At least, that's the way I feel. ::grins:: It's not so bad, Jae's been really nice about it. Tonight, Ming taught us because no one else was there. It's cool because even though it was a informal practice, Ming is still all serious about teaching us. He's definitely way into it. :)

I have a final tomorrow. It's an open book test where I need to answer two essays. Shouldn't be too hard, unless the professor decides to give us impossible questions. Just need to review over a book. After that, then three finals to go, and a paper. I have a project but it seems like my group is taking care of the rest since I did a bunch of stuff in the beginning. I don't mind.

So I came home to a piece of mail on my desk. It's from UF so I pretty much figured it was infirmary charges since I had gone to quite a few appointments in January. I open it up and apparently, I won a scholarship. Why? I'm not quite sure. Part of the reason is because I'm from Southwest Florida. Possibly for turning some financial aid forms in time even though I don't remember doing such things. I haven't completed this year's FAFSA yet. o_O Either way, I'm grateful even though free money always confuses me when I feel like I don't deserve it. Oh well, this will make mommy happy. :)

Got about 4 hours of sleep last night. Project is done though. Yay. I'm going to eat macaroni and cheese tonight.
