I cannot stop playing this game. It's called Princess Debut.
You're a girl who switches lives with a princess from another dimension and you have to find a dance partner to dance in the big competition at the end of 30 days. It's also a sort of dating sim where you get to woo six princes to become your dance partner. I'm trying to get every ending with the six princes and collect all the outfits.
Yes, the game is for eleven-year-olds. :P
I cannot stop playing this game. It's called Princess Debut.
Marty's playing the Greatest Swordsman. We got a kick out of this game because one part is kendo. The part before this is fencing. I didn't pay attention to any other parts.
Marty got the Taito Legends collection for PS2 so it includes the Greatest Swordsman, Bubble Bobble, Rainbow Legends and many other old-school games. :)
Nicole and Ryan got one white DS. We went to Gamestop with them to help them pick out games... They walked out with another blue DS for Ryan and three games. They got Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (based on Marty's suggestion), Professor Layton and the Curious Village (based on my suggestion), and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (based on Dan, another friend's suggestion).
When I got home I went through my games to see which were good for multi-player and I promptly played through Mario Party DS as Daisy, then Peach, and now I'm playing at Toad. It's slightly repetitive now but it's enjoyable. :D
It's funny to think of a group of people all sitting around in one room hunched over their DSes playing a game as oppose to playing the same sort of game on the Wii. o_O
So I was all excited about this game. And it lasted about an hour before I beat it. WTF??? I know it used to be a cell phone game but still. It's not bad, it's sort of like the Sims but much skankier.
I went for the Actor story so now I'm going to go through the Singer story and then last but not least the Model story. They're pretty much the same so far but different locations so it makes it slightly more interesting.
My interest also perked up once I figured I could get drunk off my butt and harass people. I love video games for the mere fact that I can do things in them that I normally wouldn't do in real life.
So if I had to rate this game on any sort of scale, I'd rate it 1 1/2 piggies out of 5 piggies.
"Hold it! In a surprise announcement from the latest edition of Famitsu magazine Capcom have revealed a Ace Attorney spin-off dubbed Gyakuten Kenji (Turnabout Prosecutor) for the DS. This new law adventure game is not court room simulator like the Ace Attorny, rather it is a point and click adventure game. Evidence, The dialogue and the interface are very much left unchanged, however the core of the game is different.
You play as Miles Edgeworth from the original Ace Attorney series as you investigate crime scenes looking for inconsistencies and overlooked evidence, using a brand new search and deduction system. The game will also feature Detective Dick Gumshoe as a main character. No release date is known of yet but we will keep you informed."
I AM SO GETTING THIS!
Melissa is one of the nicest people at work or in general. She's extremely friendly and not a giant turdbag as some others. She heard my Super Mario Bros ringtone and was trying to figure out which level it was. While trying to figure out which level the ringtone was from, she drew this picture on a sticky note which is now stuck to my monitor.
My Easter was centered around this... but not really. Hehe.
We did go to the gym. It was open on Easter. o_O
Had pot roast for dinner... Mmm...
Then we went over to a friend's house to play Scene It and Rock Band. ROCK! I'd like both those games
But they had an in-home gym. It was such a nice set up! I want one. I like the squishy floors.
There's a lot of things I want. o_O
Okay so I dressed in my usual con costume. I'm kind of ashamed because I have a bunch of other costumes in my closet but I keep going back to this one. I think it's because it's the only badass one. So I need to move on to making badass costumes. Cho Chang is cute but she's a whiner and I wore it for Halloween. I did a Flying Snow costume from Hero but it's not con-appropriate in the fact that I'd be afraid of people stepping on it! I need to get/make the collar for the Battle Royale outfit and I need to remake the armor for Ayame from Tenchu.
Ashley also has a picture with these Umbrella Corp guys and it's funny because she's taller and she basically blocks off the guy in the middle. We're planning to do Resident Evil costumes, I'll be Jill Valentine and she'll be Claire Redfield. BWAHAHAHAHAA! I was also thinking Ada Wong but that dress is complicated and I don't want to deal with that right now.
The FX International convention was basically one of the best times I've had at a convention. The next post will explain why.
Andrew's made a pit stop at our place yesterday! He's been doing political stuff since the primaries have been going on so he's driving all up and down the state.
It was a nice little visit and Ashley made him play Guitar Hero III with her. Perfect photo opportunity I must say!
I think he kind of looks like a Beatle. Bwahahahah! I hope this doesn't hurt his political career. ;)
Ashley and I later beat the the game in co-op easy mode. Should probably move on to medium. o_O
How lazy am I to post a picture that I took out of necessity.
I tried to sell this to Gamestop because I never use it ever and apparently they don't take this particular item. WTF? Something about serial numbers or something... I donno.
The Nintendo Browser for the DS never worked for me ever so what I am supposed to do with it?
Well, I'm going to sell it on ebay. It looks like I can get a decent price and it'd probably be more money than I would get for a trade-in at Gamestop anyways.
I recently bought Touch Detective 2 1/2 but I'm currently playing Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations.
The next DS game I want is Miami Nights: Singles in the City. It was originally a mobile phone game and it's a social simulation. HAHAHAHAHA! Oh man, I love silly games like this. I don't know that this is a good thing to admit. Oh well. I'm a dork. :P
For dinner Marty and I had Indian food! BWAHAHAHAHAA! Man, I love chicken curry... ::drools::
Afterwards Marty and I made a batch of brownies. As you can see, it's very brown and gooey. o_O I set up the shot to include the little glass snowman which held most of the brownie mix.
The boys played some Guitar Hero III and then Ashley and I played Guitar Hero III.
Great night! Can't wait for the weekend.
I've been taking so many photos and it's really, really difficult to decide which ones to post. And then I imposed a rule on myself where I can only post pictures that I took. It's not in the "official" rules but I feel it should be from my point of view... something like that. Marty took some awesome pictures but I can't post them for my 365... So if I ever want to be in my own project, I'm going to have to manuever the camera towards me or set the timer. Foo me!
So this is a picture of the bigass TV that Rob and Ashley gave themselves as a Christmas present. ^_^ Marty's playing Dead Rising.
This is a temporary setup until this weekend when Rob and Ashley get a new entertainment center. This follows up on the picture of Rob and Ashley moving their old entertainment center up the stairs to their bedroom.
Later on in the night Ashley and I teamed up to play Guitar Hero III. BWAHAHAHAHA! We r0x0rz!
I haven't played Maple Story in a while because I've been doing whatever, but I felt like going back this weekend and they've updated the crap out of the game to point where it won't work with my computer.
I basically need a new graphics cards. I got the processor and the ram, but obviously my graphics card isn't meant for gaming. It's an old style Dell. I've never been a huge PC gamer, only ever played the Sims and well, Maple Story... Maybe a little bit of Caesar and Oregon Trail on the side but nothing graphics-intensive.
Back in the day when I was really interested in the Sims 2, I asked my brother about what kind of graphics card I should get but I promptly forgot it. I just ended up playing Sims 2 on Marty's computer. I have no idea what kind of graphics card my computer can even take because it's... kind of old. I just know that it needs to be able to support 3D graphic engine. I guess I'll have to ask again... Blargh!

Hans Jørgen Olsen, a 12-year-old Norwegian boy, recently survived a moose attack by feigning death, "just like you learn at level 30 in World of Warcraft."
In WoW, "feign death" is a skill acquired by hunters at level 30 that allows them to take a page from the possum playbook, collapse to the ground, and convince their enemies -- who lose all ingrained animosity in the process -- that they've died.
According to Norwegian site Nettavisen , Hans and his sister apparently enraged one of the local moose (mooses? meese?) during a walk in the forest near their home. After shouting at the gigantic creature to ward it away from his sister, Olsen dropped to the ground, and presumably his lifebar plummeted to zero.
Moose have never been known as the wisest creature in the forest, and the boy's show of necrosis seems to have worked, as both he and his sister survived intact.
It's easy to decry video games as a menace to society but in a world where MMOs save adorable, tow-headed Norwegian children from a deadly moose, can they really be that bad?
It came with Nintendo DS accessories such as headphones, car charger, screen protectors, random pink stuff. Birthday gift from Ashley and Rob. ^_^ Makes me beyond happy. There were other birthdays gifts and apparently a couple more still to come in the mail. :D I think what I enjoyed most from my birthday was catching up with old friends. I miss people.
In other news, I've been messing with the Wii once again and so for those who care to befriend me, here's my Wii Friend Code: 0255-7147-4957-4764.

( Astrophysicist Replaces Supercomputer with Eight PlayStation 3s )
Basically a PS3 is a supercomputer which is pretty cool, but Sony still needs to put out better games. FOR SCIENCE!
