The house is coming along. Marty and I went to World Market over the weekend and bought a nice media center/tv stand, a console/side table and a big wood cube for the record player and to store all our records.

I don't think I'll be going to SDCC. Vivian and I planned but it's really not so feasible at the last minute, too late to plan, and no money to do it (least for me what with the house and all). Someone from the Wolf Pack Elite is going to see if he can get an autograph from David Tennant. I think his chances are slim because David isn't doing an autograph session and SDCC is different from other cons. More promotion, less about the fans. He thinks he has a chance though because he got his picture taken with John Barrowman last year due to his awesome Captain America costume, hehehe. Either way, it's really nice to know that someone's going to try. That's all I can ask for. It's a sweet gesture.

I am getting really excited for Dragon*Con! I seriously need to make all my costumes right now. Not right now, right now. My sewing room is organized, but I need a cutting/work table, stat! Ikea is freaking crazy with their shipping charges. $300 for a $50 table, I don't think so! I just need a large table where I can cut fabric dammit and I don't want to spend more than 100 bucks dammit! I think I can get what I want at Office Depot. We'll see, I'll check it out this weekend.

Mike, the RT, is in town! He's wandering New Orleans as we speak. Ima meet him up for lunch, woohoo!

9-27-08 - Domo-kun, originally uploaded by TineyHo.

Target is selling Domo-kun stuff for Halloween? WTF?

I love Domo-kun. I've been wanting a Domo-kun doll for a while and now I got one. Once Halloween passes, I'll take the pumpkin costume off of him and he'll be regular Domo-kun! :)

9-1-08 - Phat Lootz, originally uploaded by TineyHo.

Monday was chillaxed. Most people were leaving. Marty and I were watching the storm to see how things were going back at home. We were staying another night. So Monday was Phat Lootz day. Picked up a ton of stuff. I love my sonic screwdriver. I think it's better that we drove because there was no way a plane would let us on with all the crap we had. o_O

5-27-08 - Housewarming, originally uploaded by TineyHo.

Ashley bought cute housewarming presents for Marty and I. On the left we have a ladybug egg timer. On the right we have a mouse cheese grater. I've always wanted animal-shaped kitchen utensils and now the collection has started!

Marty was quite pleased with the mouse cheese grater because he was planning to buy a cheese grater but now he doesn't have to get one.

5-9-08 - Hello Kitty Surprise, originally uploaded by TineyHo.

So a dear friend of mine visited for the weekend. Ming came into town too so it was a nice weekend overall with friends from out of town.

Anyways, so this friend had gotten me a gift that he had bought a year ago but kept forgetting to give me since we live in separate towns.

If you can figure out what it is, good for you. ;) If not, just ask.

I don't remember the entire conversation from a year ago but I basically challenged him on something and somehow it led to him getting me this present. I did not imagine him going through with it but now I know better.

Would it be in poor taste to display this in a glass case in my home?

5-1-08 - McDonald's Toy, originally uploaded by TineyHo.

Nothing exciting happened on Thursday. I remember being completely bored out of my mind at work. I requested Friday off because of all the graduation hub-bub between Ashley and Marty so I was all antsy to get the fudge out. It was one of the days I didn't bring lunch and the office manager wanted me to pick something up for her. I generally go to the mall or this local Chinese place for lunch but she wanted something fast so I figured why not do McDonald's for one day. Course I got the Happy Meal and I got this freaky-weird-ass toy.

Running out of ideas, McDonald's? Apparently this giant orange-looking thing represents American Idol.

When I get bored at work I play with my toys. Actually, I surf the internet more than I play with the toys, they're more for display purposes.

On the right is a squishy bear and on the left is a squishy bull. I love them because they remind me of the bears and bulls from Mad Money with Jim Cramer. He's got bears and bulls all over his set representing the bear and bull markets.

I got these from Franklin Templeton Investments when I was perusing the career fair oh so many years ago.

I made them kiss.

2-10-08 - Dolls

I love these dolls. These are called Mimo dolls. They're exclusively made by a toy company in Hong Kong. The Mimo dolls are a set of dolls that are inspired by Hong Kong's youth culture or something like that.

I got the one on the right when I was in Hong Kong and I got the one on the left off of eBay. My favorite part is the accessories that come with the dolls. Another doll I want to get is the Tsim Sha Tsui doll. Tsim Sha Tsui is a district in Hong Kong. That doll comes with a mini DS.

I've also been collecting Pinky Street dolls. There's a store in the Fashion Square Mall chock full of Sanrio, Anime, random Asian crap that sells the Pinky Street dolls.

2-7-08 - Ninja!

I only have two things on my dashboard, my radar detector and my ninja. My radar detector helps me with speeding and my ninja helps me from everything else.

Everything else includes bringing good luck, protecting the vehicle from dangers such as pirates, and dancing. The ninja's main function seems to be dancing. He just bounces around to the rhythm of the moving car. He clutches on to his shuriken ready to strike at any time. You can see the focus he has in his eyes.

My ninja rocks.

Every now and again I will got to the Fashion Square Mall for lunch. It's very close, actually, work is close to a lot of cool stuff. Good time to get errands done if I ever need to.

Anyways, I always stop by the Hello Kitty/Anime store and it's really hard for me not to buy something.

You get a puppy (maybe two), some accessories and a tiny, clear carrying case. I love puppies.

Basically my goal was to get the Corgi, and I got it! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I've got a pretty nice collection of random, Asian toys but currently I don't have a place for them all. >:| I will eventually get a nice, big display case whenever I get my own place. They'll be stuffed into my shelves, and random boxes and bags until then.

Southpeak Games is developing a new DS game called Ninjatown based on the Wee Ninja from Shawnimals. ^_^ Not sure what type of game it will be, but it looks really cute so that's good in my book.

There's a preview video too! There's different types of ninjas within the ninja clan. I like Wee Ninja, Baby Ninja, and Business Ninja!

I bought some dolls.  They're from a series called Pinky Street.  Seems pretty popular in Japan.  I saw them in Hong Kong, but I ended up getting other toys including a Mimo Doll.  Mimo Dolls are these cute dolls exclusively made by a Hong Kong toy store representing girls of Hong Kong.  Anyways, getting off topic, I kind of regretted not getting any Pinky Street dolls but I recently found a store in the Fashion Square Mall that had them so I bought a couple.  Now I have an outlet in which to collect these Pinky Street dolls.  :)  I want more Mimo Dolls but those are harder to get considering they're only made and distributed in Hong Kong.  Ebay will have to do.

The heads, hair, clothes, and accessories are interchangeable.

Also, I got a new digital camera, pink Fujifilm Finepix Z3.  It's pretty sweet.

Here are my spoils of war )

I'm happy with everything I've got and my family liked what I got them. ^_^

I've been spending a lot of time with my parents, brother, Camay, and funnily enough, Camay's brother and cousin. They basically spent the week at my house. They're good kids so while it was a little messy to have boys around, it was fun with all the video game playing. Actually, Henry started playing FFVIII and it made me want to start a new game, so I did. Too bad my brother's copy is all messed up. :P Now I'm stuck in a spot because the disk won't go any further. I got to hang out with Stahly the day we had our reunion and we even went to the Pizza by the Slice place downtown. Haven't been there in forever, they have great white pizza. :)

I talked to Gunkelman and we won't be coming back to Gainesville until Friday. We plan to leave around noon so I should be back in the afternoon to spend New Years Eve with my Marty. Unless of course there's some random person who wants to give me a ride early. ::grins:: Otherwise, see people Friday!

Oh, BTW, happy holidays people. :D

Well, I just saw it. So for anyone who hasn't gotten me a gift and wants to get me a gift, I want the Pilgrim Salt and Pepper Shakers from Publix. :) You know, the ones that they show in the commercials going through adventures being passed around by the family and the baby sticks the guy pilgrim into the mashed potatoes. I want the original pilgrims though. They have this new premiere edition next to the original ones where the woman has red hair instead of black hair with the bonnet on and that just isn't right. ::grins::

Where is my Patamon?

I, for some (no) raisin, woke up at this hour and was going through my interests on LJ when I noticed I had Patamon listed.  I had forgotten about Patamon. For those who don't know.  Patamon was one of those Digimon monster characters and he was the cutest one.  He looked like a hamster with wings.  I had a Patamon doll but now I can't remember for the life of me where I put it.  It's not here and it might possibly be in Gainesville but I have no fucking clue.  Where the hell did it go? I think it's in Gainesvile... I think. It should be. I have the worst memory. o_O  Marty, do you remember if Patamon is in my apartment or have you never met Patamon?  If this is the case... I need a new Patamon doll.

You know what I love??? UFO dolls. They're so cool! If only we had those neat machines here. Stupid America. Not as cool as Japan. ::gets deported::

Oh yes, once again, I love the song, "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World! ::promote promote promote::
